Orozco Contemporary arises from a deep need to create a space where dance becomes a system, a living structure. Where body, thought, and culture articulate as a whole.

With this foundation, I founded Orozco Contemporary, guided by three clear principles:

One: technical excellence, rooted in our Cuban heritage.

Two: synergy between disciplines.

And three: the concept of Consuelo, which is not sentimental consolation but aesthetic strength. It is the power that cares, repairs, and transforms.

To me, the body is not an instrument; it is a territory. A place where memory, emotion, and power reside.

For a long time, we were taught to control the body, to discipline it. I, however, want to listen to it, open it up, and let it speak.

This kind of presence completely transforms the scene. We don't dance for applause; we engage so that the other can recognize themselves in us.

And that creates a real connection. Not with form… but with truth.
